Embrujo was born
from friendship,
ambition & cultural
connection

Two women. Two cultures. One vision.

Belen Getachew

Alondra Mondragón

Her work in hospitality taught her that the most powerful experiences are carefully curated from the atmosphere of a room to the drink that fills the glass.

Her Ethiopian heritage deeply influences the philosophy behind Embrujo: resilience, strength, and respect for legacy.

A reminder that if something exists clearly in your mind, it is worth building in the world.

To bring the vision to life, she called a childhood friend in Mexico, Alondra Mondragón.

With experience in marketing and spirit brands, Alondra understood both the industry and the soul of Mexico. What started as a conversation became a mission.

For more than two years they traveled across Mexico, researching, tasting, refining, and rebuilding the idea. They were not just creating tequila. They were building a cultural bridge between Ethiopia and Mexico.
